so, Tr00 told me to write something in my blog at this moment. So I'm doing it. Why I listen to Tr00, I don't know, but it sounded like a good idea at the time. Hokay.
Tomorrow I have to work for the opening day of boating, and it will really suck, because it starts at 7 AM.
UPDATE: Jeff would rather have me call him "Jeff", not "Tr00". So, I guess that's the new "rule". I should stop using "quotation marks". WOW can I type GOOD! I mean, I don't even have to look at the keyboard or anything, it's really very amazing. Now Jeff is trying to poke my eye out, and I'm very concerned about it.
Jeff once had a friend named Marcus, who really liked sparkles. Ya know, like sparkles on a girl, for makeup purposes.
Jeff just gave me a really cheesy compliment about sparkles. This is getting cuh-razy!
Over and out.

these guys are seriously awesome, check 'em out:
while we walk around this town like we own the streets
and stay awake through summer like we own the heat
singing "everybody wake up
it's time to get down"
and when I pass the bottle back to Pete
on the overpass tonight
i bet we laugh
i'm gonna stay 18 forever
so we can stay like this forever
and we'll never miss a party
because we keep them going constantly
and we'll never have to listen
to anyone about anything
because it's all been done
and it's all been said
we're the coolest kids and we take what we can get
you're just jealous cuz we're young and in love
your stomach's filled up with your stupid conversation
you're spending all your nights growing old in your bed
and you're tearing up your photos cuz you wanna forget
it's over

oh Elias, I see you there
I work in the daytime
do you think you could answer all the questions of the world
in just one word?
I think you could
if you die will I get word at your door
will I hear it in passing conversation
will I stop short and fall to the ground
distance is short
when your hand carries what your eye found
hold my hand just one more time
to see if you're really gonna need me
Been listening to way too much Dispatch lately. Not that this is a bad thing... it's just that I've started singing "Elias" around the dorms and I know people are starting to notice the repetition. But it's so beautiful!!
evidently the iPod came in a few days ago. now all I have to do is get my butt down to Oly to pick it up, or bribe somebody into picking it up for me. hmm, but yes, very excited.
i have a bunch of Dorito's Rollitos that I don't want to eat anymore. there's just too many. hmm, speaking of too many of something, I have too many choices when it comes to when I want to work this fall. There are the football games, which would be good because I'd get paid about 50-60 bucks a game, plus free tickets. Downside is lack of tailgating, but somehow I think I'd survive. I do miss my parking job, sadly enough.
ok, time for bed. this is enough blogging for one night.

Evil Ninja has offended me. I must find a replacement. Send one my way, y'all, if ya could. (But don't make it the Terror Alert Level one - that one is kinda lame.)
wow. at the library, and almost wholly unmotivated to do my work. Yet, must do it, for if I don't, evil midgets will kill me with sticks. or my GPA might just go down. Either way.
Didn't get accepted into the German program I applied for, and in addition to that, I lost my Husky card. All before breakfast. That day wasn't a good one.... when was that? Tuesday? yes, I think it was last Tuesday.
Hard to believe that this is the 4th week of the quarter. Just another month and a half and my first year at college will be over. I don't know exactly what to make of it - sure, it's been a great year, and I"ll miss my room/roommates next year, and stuff. I just feel like it could have been better. oh well, it's good. And plus next year i'll get to study Biology instead of this chem nonsense. woot!
it will also be fun, albeit a major distraction, to have friends from semester colleges coming up to visit in early May. I don't know exactly how all that will work out, considering us quarter kids will need to study during that time, but i'm sure it'll be okay.
Right, well, back to my prelab.
Satellite, in my eyes
like a diamond in the sky
how I wonder
Satellite strung from the moon
and the world your balloon
Peeping Tom for the mother station
Winter's cold spring erases
And the calm away by the storm is chasen
Everything good needs replacing
Look up, look down, all around

DISCLAIMER: Sexual innuendo does NOT equal sex!
Jeff: You're a dirty whore.
Me: What? Am not!
Jeff: Just kidding, you're as clean as a whistle... in that when I blow into you, you make a high-pitched noise...
Me: That's going in the profile.
Jeff: You'll forget!
And he's right. I did, until he reminded me today.

Updating blog to include recent humorous dialogue (can also be found currently on my AIM profile):
Me: I need to study my chemistry.
Jeff: Screw Chemistry!
Me: No! If I don't study chemistry, chemistry will screw me!
Jeff: Well, you can't have it both ways.
Me: Unless chemistry and I are both gay men...
Jeff: ... You should put that in your profile.
Grant: One time I accidentally licked my ex-girlfriend's toe...
Me and Jeff: Accidentally?
Grant: Yeah, well... whatever.
Bedtime. woot.

bought a book last night off the 50 cent rack at the bookstore on the Ave that is quickly going out of business. Very entertaining book written in the late 80's about AIDS. Worth every penny, and the fact that I have no idea who used to own the book is a definite plus. Could have been anyone! But, as this poignant, humorous, and relevant dialogue from page 148 of the book states, "I hugged him, sure. And don't give me that look - you can't get AIDS from hugging a friend!" (This was reportedly "overheard at the lockers", and there is a picture of some oblong people in lettermens jackets to prove it.) Ah, good times.
Anyway. So. acapella rehearsal tonight at 7, and I need to shower before then, so, catch you all later.

a long december
and there's reason to believe
that maybe this year will be better
than the last
i can't remember
the last thing that you said
cuz you were leaving
and the days go by so fast
and it's one more day up in the canyons
and it's one more night in hollywood
if you think that i could be forgiven
i wish you would
the smell of hospitals and winter
and the feeling that it's all a lot of oysters
and no pearls
and all at once you look across a crowded room
and see the way that light attaches to a girl
and it's one more day up in the canyons
and it's one more night in hollywood
if you think you might come to california
i think you should

added Evil Ninja's Insult of the Day. See? See how it replaced the chatterbox? All is good now.
we (meaning tr00 and I) have dug up some real gems in recent days concerning.... well, nothing, really. But these are too good to not post. (hmm, I forget exactly how the one about catholicism went. but this one is good:)
Tr00 (on deciding which dorm to apply to for next year, McCarty or McMahon): "I guess what it comes down to is, which would I rather have: you, or a balcony?"
Classic. Anyway, methinks it's time for lunch, followed by some working out, and then perhaps a nap. And then school work, yeah. Maybe one of these days I'll get around to posting something that is actually fun, useful, insightful, or quirky. Until then, I'll leave you with some Jason Mraz. (And this. And this.)
so go on, place your order now
this "some other time" is right around the clock
you can't stand in line
well it finally begins
oh, just around the block
you can have your pick if your stomach is sick
whether you eat or not
and there's just one thing that I almost forgot
see, you and me we lay awake in lust
in rust and the rain, in front of everything
we say we trust, well it happened again
hallways end in doors where the rivers unwind
the rivers unwind so easy, oh these other couples that be

dude. So, chem lecture was actually interesting this morning. I got a lot out of it. Why do I feel so awake this morning? It doesn't feel at all like I stayed up until 2:30 AM talking with Tr00. (btw, he informed me that Tr00 is spelled with two zeros instead of the letter "o". Go figure.) And it wasn't the coffee either - I felt this way before drinking it. Must have something to do with the gorgeous sunlight. This is the way weather should be - sunny, but not hot, with a little bit of a breeze. Clear blue sky. Yeah, that's the ticket. Man, this is the best I've felt all week.
Just got back from breakfast with BK. Plans for today include German at 10:30, lunch at 11:30 (but i'm not going to be hungry!) bubble tea with tr00 at 1:30, frisbee practice at 3, and then fun times after that yet to be announced (probably some quality IMA time and then just chillin'). Tomorrow is Rocky Horror Picture Show, for which I am excited, and then Sunday is a capella rehearsal, which is also exciting because we're going to start singing my arrangement of "Say it Ain't So"!!! woot!
alright, word to your mother, brother or significant other. (that's not quite the line from "Lock Stock" that I was looking for... ah nevermind.)
